Getting to The Big Retreat Wales 2018 And Checking In

Got your Tickets - here's how to Get Here & How to Check in!

But that's the thing with Postcodes - they don't always get you to the front door!

Follow these guidelines:

From Direction Bristol, Swansea ---  Follow the M4 till the end then go through Carmarthen  - picking up signs to the A477:

From the A477 coming from Carmarthen:

Turn Right to the B4586 at  traffic lights at Broadmoor & go to Cresselly. You will pass St Ostwalds School. Keep on this road and you will arrive at a T Junction with a river ahead of you (the Cleddau) turn Right.Follow this lane and signs to Lawrenny.  In Lawrenny  you will see the old Church ahead and signs for The Big Retreat Wales. Drive through the gates by the side of the Church. You'll need your Ticket or Email Confirmation at this point.  Follow direction to  our private car park (in an old walled garden next to the Camping Site). We have spaces for  up to 200 cars.

From A477 coming from Pembroke/Pembroke Dock

At the Carew roundabout take the exit for 'Carew & Haverfordwest’. Go over the millpond bridge and along the road & turn left at the 'Whitehill / Lawrenny’ sign. Go through Cresswell Quay, over small stone bridge and uphill to the crossroads where you turn LEFT signposted to Lawrenny. You will see the Church ahead and signs for The Big Retreat Wales. Drive through the gates by the side of the Church. You'll need your Ticket or Email Confirmation at this point.  Follow direction to  our private car park (in an old walled garden next to the Camping Site). We have spaces for  up to 200 cars.

From the A4075 Take the 'Canaston Bridge' exit.

After passing Oakwood, take the first turning right, signposted 'Lawrenny'. Follow straight on, then, just after a sharp left hand bend, take left fork at cottages, signposted 'Lawrenny'. At 'T' junction turn right, at crossroads go straight over. Arrive at Church where you will see signs for The Big Retreat Wales. Follow these to our private car park (in an old walled garden next to the Camping Site). We have spaces for up to 200 cars.

Drive Times

From Swansea 1 hour 20 mins; From Bristol 2hrs 32 mins; From Birmingham about 4 hours. London 4hrs 30mim. 

By Train

If you don't fancy driving, come by train - nearest station is Narberth. Let us know by TUESDAY 23rd May if you plan to do this and we will arrange a shuttle bus to collect you on Friday and deliver you back there on Monday (£10 return). 

Parking

We have a private car park (in an old walled garden next to the Camping Site) for up to 200 cars. Parking included in Ticket price. Please follow the guidance and advice of our Stewards on Parking for Weekend Parking and Day Parking. 

 CHECKING IN & CAMPSITE RULES

If arriving by CAR - Once Parked up, follow the directions from the Stewards to the Reception Area.  We will have assistance for you to take your luggage up to the Campsite - no cars are allowed. It's just a short walk but our experience is that sometimes the Kitchen Sink seems to make it onto a Camping trek! 
Have your tickets, Email reference or Booking Number,  You will be asked to read and sign a copy of our Terms and Conditions (Read them Here) and given a wristband. -Weekend for Weekend Campers, Day wristbands for Day ticket holders (2 if you're coming for 2 Days) .
If Camping - head on up to the Campsite (a 5 minute walk through the festival terrace) Please follow the signs to the right Camping Area (Family or General or Campervans or Belle Hotel ) .

Please be mindful of your neighbours in regard to noise - all on-site noise to finish by 11pm.  If you wish to carry on partying - please join us on the Festival Terrace!  See here for Campsite Rules 

If arriving in a CAMPERVAN/CARAVAN follow the directions of the Steward.  Check in and get your Wristbands for the Weekend.  Then drive  on to the Festival Site and then into the Campervan zone (as marked).  Please do not pitch tents any closer than 2 metres for Fire Safety Regulations. Reception Opening Times:

Friday 10.00am - 10.30pm.  
Saturday. 07.00am - 8.30pm
Sunday.   07.00am - 8.30pm
Monday   07.00am till Noon 
If you arrive outside of these hours, we have 24hr Security who will be able to assist.  Please aim to arrive by 10pm on Friday if coming for the Weekend. You will not be able to take your car to the Campsite to unpack. 

Park Up All Weekend in our Old Walled Garden - and enjoy!
