👀Keep an eye out for more details of our new star gazing evening swims too.. ❤️

we swim wild was founded by Laura Owen Sanderson. Driven by a desire to share the natural healing powers of nature, immersing in wild waters and educating people on the importance of treading lightly and marine conservation.

Laura is an experienced wild swimmer, teacher and certified open water lifeguard, she has dipped in over 300 Welsh Llyns, rivers and waterfalls.

Laura hopes that the we swim wild sessions will allow you to reconnect, rewild and have the space to resurface.

Laura is a passionate ocean advocate and environmentalist. In March 2019 she swam 26km from summit to sea testing for micro plastics. In 2020 she will be swimming all of the U.K National Parks testing for micro-plastics invisible to the eye for her Source To Sea challenge. in partnership with Bangor University.

Conservation is at the heart of everything we do at we swim wild and we strive to minimise the impact of being out in the wild by treading lightly and keeping our group sizes to a minimum.

Laura hopes for her courses and retreats to allow you to make mindful, long lasting changes and to help you become a little bit braver about taking a cold water dip!

Laura is also a fully qualified open water lifeguard and she holds an outdoor first aid certification.

Our Wild Swim Guides will make sure you are prepped, prepared and safe ahead of your swimming exploits. With tips, encouragement and support - come and find out (safely) how to enjoy this life-enhancing past-time.
